Aanii! Hello everyone, and welcome to AnishinaaBeads! I am Ashley Abbott, a proud Anishinaabe and member of Pays Plat First Nation. I am the artist behind all the beadwork you will find here.

Growing up, I always felt a strong pull to learn more about my heritage and culture, and creating beadwork became a meaningful way to honor that connection. Each piece I craft is inspired by my Ojibwe roots.

In addition to my beadwork, I also create a variety of art prints that capture the spirit of my culture and I am excited to share them with you as another form of artistic expression.
